Dyven

The idea for this sculpture came from wedding cookies, which are mostly characteristic of the South, partly Poltava and Slobozhanshchyna. To bake these cookies, dough is wrapped around a reed or twig, and knots are braided around it, sticking out in all directions. Bread traditions for almost any occasion in life are another very characteristic feature of our people, which gives us a certain understanding of the attachment and closeness of people to bread culture, which again brings us back to the idea of the Ukrainian people as a nation of farmers.
