Land is a valuable asset, a treasure, something that promises stability, peace and a long life. Land is always well-tended, precious and magnetic. To be left without it is a death sentence for a farming people. For decades, the empire used this method to subjugate the free: dispossession, collectivisation, etc. How did we, as a nation, survive the deprivation of our own? How did it affect us? What consequences of this trauma do we still feel today? And now, the last empire is directing its death throes at us, causing natural disasters in addition to war. Our texture is the soil of the Kakhovka Reservoir two years after the disaster. Earth corrosion that will soon become a unique forest.
